A Little Thank You...

goes a long way. Hayden has been sick most of the weekend. Which meant sleepless nights for us. Robert had to work over the weekend so it was Hayden and I on Sunday. You never know how much just an extra set of hands helps until you don't have it. For those women who are single mothers, you're my hero. Here is what Robert emailed me this morning. "You've done a great job with HP. You've gotten up with him constantly with no complaints. Thank you. I appreciate your looking after him so well and taking your time and energy - and time off work - to comfort and care for him. I know he appreciates it. (When you're that age, your mom is the only one you want to comfort you.) You're doing a great job, and it's nice to see how much you love one another. That's a good thing. and I'm proud of both of you. You've taken to motherhood well and you're doing a great job." A little thank you goes so far. If you haven't thanked a mother today, why not?
